Loki

Loki is a log aggregation system that is designed to be cost-effective and easy to operate. It is similar to Prometheus, but instead of indexing the full contents of the logs, it only indexes a set of labels for each log stream. This makes it simpler to operate and cheaper to run, as it does not require full text indexing. Additionally, Loki uses the same labels as Prometheus, so you can easily switch between metrics and logs using the same labels. It is well-suited for storing Kubernetes Pod logs, as metadata such as Pod labels is automatically scraped and indexed. Loki also has native support in Grafana, starting with version 6.0.
